New Years
We had such a wonderful New Years Eve and New Years with our kiddos. Life would be so boring without the kids. I’m super grateful for the purpose they bring to our lives. It’s work, but work brings blessings and joy.
We had Megan and her family over for a party on New Year’s Eve. We had a delicious nacho bar. The kids took turns popping balloons with activities written on paper inside.
Each person drew a name and had to make them a special hat to wear for the night made only out of tissue paper, tape and scissors. It is my new favorite tradition and the kids loved it.
For dessert Megan brought all the ingredients to make waffles. It was tasty and might just be a new New Years tradition.
The other activities were the merry bells, cookie resolution, sticky note paradise, musical cups, and board games. The kids all had so much fun together.
We ended the night with the ball drop an lots of loud celebrating outside at 9:30😅
Sam and I actually made it to 12 this year because we got caught up talking. It was really nice. I feel very blessed for such a wonderful year. I learned a lot about myself and I feel very excited to go into 2026 continuing to better myself, welcome a sweet baby girl and make lots of wonderful memories with my family.
New Year’s Day we had sourdough waffles and orange Julius. We drove to park city and had a staycation. Pizza, swimming and movie night. Of course there was ice cream as well. It was the perfect day and I felt like we grew closer as a family.
Cheers to 2026!
